How Funds Are Allocated
Where does the money go?
80% goes to development time (maintaining projects, fixing bugs, building features), 10% to hosting and infrastructure, and 10% to community events and outreach. See the breakdown above. For detailed transaction history, visit our Open Collective page.
Are sponsorships tax-deductible?
Tax deductibility depends on your jurisdiction. Contributions through Open Collective are made to the Open Source Collective, a 501(c)(6) fiscal host in the US. Consult your tax advisor for specifics.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Contact us to arrange annual invoicing for Gold and Platinum tiers. Annual sponsors save 17%.
Can I sponsor as a company?
